Made of clay, sand, wood glue, joint compound and drumsticks. This piece has so many different layers/textures at play. I had a ton of fun with all the different materials. It’s hard for the camera to pick up all the subtle gradient changes throughout the piece. The layers of spray paint give it an almost mother of pearl effect.
